Money University: Financial Education for Children and Youth

At Cooperativa Internacional, we know that developing financial habits from an early age is essential for building a strong future. That’s why we created the Money University, an educational program aimed at children and youth between 8 and 16 years old, where they learn in a practical and fun way how to manage money, make smart decisions, and plan for their future.

This program is available to the children of our members and clients because we believe that being part of our cooperative not only means having access to financial products but also providing valuable tools that positively impact your family’s life.

What did participants learn?

  • Session 1: What is money and what is it for
  • Session 2: Earning money – Work and effort
  • Session 3: Saving – The ultimate financial habit
  • Session 4: Spending wisely
  • Session 5: Creating a budget
  • Session 6: The magic of compound interest
  • Session 7: Being a responsible consumer
  • Session 8: Final project – My financial plan

Being part of Cooperativa Internacional not only means having access to loans, savings accounts, and term deposits, but also providing your children with quality financial education that prepares them to make smart decisions and face the future with confidence.

In short: being a member or client of our cooperative is investing in your family’s financial education and in a safer future for your children.
